An Invitation to All

This Easter, The Pleasant View South Stake invites you to experience the life and eternal mission of Jesus Christ through a peaceful, guided open house. Walk through rooms dedicated to key moments of His life — from His birth to His resurrection and beyond.

This experience is designed for everyone — members of the Church, friends of other faiths, and anyone who seeks to know more about the Savior of the world.

No appointment necessary. Come when you can, stay as long as you like. The experience is quiet, reflective, and free to attend.

The Empty Tomb

"He Is Not Here: For He Is Risen"

The tomb was empty. The burial cloth, folded. Death had no power over Him — and because of Him, it has no final power over us.

— Matthew 28:6

What You Will Encounter

Move at your own pace through a series of rooms, each dedicated to a sacred moment in the life of Jesus Christ. Youth from across the stake will share short, heartfelt testimonies in each room.

I
Room One

The Birth of Christ

Explore the eternal nature of Christ's mission — foreordained before the world was created, foretold by prophets for centuries, and fulfilled in the humble manger of Bethlehem.

II
Room Two

His Earthly Ministry

Walk through the life of Jesus — His baptism, His teachings on the mount, His miracles of compassion, and the Church He established to continue His work.

III
Room Three

Gethsemane & The Atonement

Sit in quiet reflection as children's voices fill the room. Pass by the La Pieta statue and ponder on the depth of His Sacrifice. This sacred space invites you to feel the depth of Christ's infinite sacrifice — made willingly, made personally, made for you.

IV
Room Four

The Resurrection

Stand before an empty tomb and let the hope of Easter wash over you. Death is not the end. Sunday always comes. Because He lives, all will rise again.

V
Room Five

His Influence Today

Discover how Jesus Christ continues His ministry through living prophets, scripture, and the lives of those who follow Him. Browse displays, read the words of modern apostles, and see Christ's influence in the Book of Mormon.

La Pietà replica statue

La Pietà Will Be Present

As part of this experience, we are honored to display a full-scale replica of Michelangelo's renowned La Pietà — one of the most recognized and beloved works of religious art in the world.

The Pietà depicts Mary cradling the body of Jesus Christ following the Crucifixion. Its quiet power has moved the hearts of millions across centuries. Seeing it in person is an experience unlike any other.

This replica will serve as the sacred focal point of Room Three — the Gethsemane and Atonement experience — inviting quiet reflection on the Savior's infinite sacrifice.

"He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows."
— Isaiah 53:4

All Are Welcome Here

This experience is not a church service. It is simply an open door — an invitation to encounter Jesus Christ in a quiet, reverent setting.

Come as you are. Bring a friend. Stay as long as you need.
